Port Huron and Sarnia: City marina facilities on the Black River have two launch facilities.
St. Clair: The St. Clair Municipal Ramp has a boat launch that is currently being restored but is still open to the public. There is a $6 cost for launch. The Charles F. Moore Harbor has a boat launch as well.
Marine City: One ramp located one mile south of the city with access to St. Clair River. Fee charged. The ramp is hard surfaced and can accommodate most trailerable boats.
Algonac: There is one launch ramp at the Algonac Municipal Ramp. At the west end of the North Channel, Decker’s Landing has one ramp.
Harsens Island: There are DNR ramps north of Walkers Landing.
Fair Haven: One mile east of Fair Haven is the Fair Haven Township Launch. The launch is paved and has a courtesy pier.
New Baltimore and Chesterfield: The Brandenburg Memorial Park boating access site, one mile southwest of New Baltimore, has a paved launch. The Chesterfield/Harrison DNR Access Site on Jefferson Avenue at Rosso Highway also has a boat launch.
Mt. Clemens: The Clinton River Cut-Off just off of Jefferson Avenue features a paved boating ramp. There is another launch at Harley Ensign Memorial Park, five miles east of Mt. Clemens. Shadyside Park, located at the southern edge of the city along the river, also has a launch ramp.
Metro Beach: Eight ramps are located near the North Marina along the Black Creek that provide access to Lake St. Clair. There is a $4 daily charge for their use.
St. Clair Shores: Lac Sainte Claire Harbor at Jefferson and Eleven mile road has a public ramp. The Blossom Heath ramp is south of Ten Mile, behind Blossom Heath Inn, and the Lac Sainte Claire Ramp behind city hall are for residents only.
Grosse Pointe: Nearby St. Clair Shores has a public boat launch.
Mitchell’s Bay: Located along the Northeast shore of Lake St. Clair, Mitchell’s Bay Marine Park has eight launch ramps. The daily fee is $11.32.
Belle River, Puce River and Pike Creek: The full-service deepwater Belle River Marina has a double access boat ramp. Puce River Harbour has one deep cement ramp in its sheltered harbor.
Windsor: On the mouth of the Detroit River heading into Lake St. Clair is the Lakeview Park Marina. It has four launch ramps. Just down the river from Ambassador Bridge, Mill Cove Marina also has a ramp.
Detroit: Riverside Boat Ramp and Marina has a hard-surfaced ramp that can accommodate all trailerable watercraft.
Wyandotte: The Wyandotte Boat Ramp is paved and has a daily rate of $3.
LaSalle: Construction has recently been completed on the LaSalle Park public boat launch.
Amherstburg and Gibraltar: K. Walter Ranta Memorial Park and Marina at the intersection of County Road 20 and North Side Road has a public ramp. Upriver from Gibraltar on the east side of Gross Ile lies the Elizabeth Park Marina. It has four launch ramps. South of Gibraltar is Lake Erie Metropark Marina with a 12-boat ramp. Metropark vehicle and boat launch permits are required.
Susan Creek, Stony Creek and Sandy Creek: A public launch ramp is located at the far southeastern end of the estuary off of Sandy Creek near the highway bridge.
Monroe: Wm. C. Sterling State Park, situated south of Sand Creek and north of Monroe has a launch ramp. A motor vehicle permit is required and there is a $6 daily fee.
Bolles Harbor: Adjacent to the Otter Creek Marina is a public boat ramp. The Bolles Harbor boating access site on Lake Drive has a hard-surfaced ramp.
Toledo Beach: The Luna Pier Boat Launch on South Harold Drive has a hard-surfaced ramp in water of limited depth. Launching and retrieving of larger boats may be difficult and is not recommended.
North Maumee Bay and the Ottawa River: There is a private boat launch at State Line Marina where boaters can pay a fee to launch. A public launch ramp is located at Halfway Creek. If attendants are present there, a fee is charged.
Toledo: The Farnsworth Toledo Park has a boat launch.
Cooley Creek: There is a public launch ramp near Anchor Pointe. The Meinke Marina East on Bono Road and the Meinke Marina West on Corduroy road both offer launches. Another ramp is located at Fleitz Marina. Lamberjack’s Marina in Oak Harbor has floating ramps. Turtle Point Marina has a launch ramp and dock space for over 100 boats. Upstream to the east, Fenwick Marina, Inc. has a launching ramp and bait store.
Port Clinton: The River Retreat Campground and Marina along the Portage Rive features a public boat ramp.
Catawba Island: The West Harbor Public Boat Launch is available for a fee. Catawba Island State Park has a free boat ramp. The large concrete pier is not recommended for extended dockage.
West Harbor: Inside West Harbor on the port side is the East Harbor State Park Marina, which has a launch ramp available for a fee.
East Harbor and Marblehead: Tibbels Marina, west of the main entrance of the harbor, has a ramp available. Bass Haven has a boat ramp on a protected canal that leads directly into the bay. The launch ramp at East Harbor State Park is for campground use only.
South Bass Island and Put-in-Bay: South Bass Island State Park on the island’s southwestern shore has a public boat ramp. The downtown harbor, adjacent to Fox’s Dock, has a ramp as well.
Middle Bass Island: Middle Bass facilities are still under development and there is no ramp at present.
Kelleys Island: West Bay Inn offers a boat ramp. A quarter-mile from downtown Kelleys Island, Crafts Lakeview Lanes also has a ramp. Heading west on East Lakeshore Drive and turning right onto Division Street takes you to Kelleys Island State Park, which has a double launch ramp.
Sandusky: The city ramp at the corner of Shelby and Water Streets has a public launching ramp. Battery Park Marina has a two-lane launching ramp. Vessels eight feet tall and under can use the ramp near Martin’s Marina and Campsite. The nearby trestle bridge limits boats any taller than that from getting through.
Huron: On the Huron River about a half-mile from Lake Erie, Holiday Harbor on Main Street has a public boat launch. Fifteen miles east of Sandusky, the Huron Municipal Boat Basin has a public boat ramp. Cranberry Creek Marina at Ruggles Beach has a boat launch ramp as well.
Vermilion: Located on the west side of the Vermilion River adjacent to the Water Pollution Control Center, the South Street Municipal Public Boat Ramp has two launching ramps available for a $4 fee.
Beaver Creek: Located in nearby Lorain, Beaver Park Marina offers a launch ramp.
Lorain: There are public launch ramps located near the river’s mouth on both sides. The Black River Wharf Boat Launch located at 14th and Broadway has six public launches for $4 each.
Rocky River: Off the Detroit Road entrance to the Rocky River Reservation, Scenic Park has a boat launch. Emerald Necklace Marina has six launch lanes and is free.
Cleveland: Gordon Park has six boat launch ramps with a large parking area for vehicles and trailers. Wildwood Marina also has a six lane boat launch open to the public. Edgewater Park is very busy but has 10 launch lanes.
Chagrin River: There is a boat ramp at Borac’s Landing on Riverside Drive. The Erie Road Park boat ramp is also available for a fee.
Mentor: Mentor Lagoons Marina has a boat ramp for Mentor boat owners and marina dockers only. The daily launch permit is $10.
Fairport Harbor: Harbortowne Point Marina on Second Street has a ramp with direct lake access. Rutherford’s Landing, on the west side of the river, also has a boat launch. There is a public boat launch at the end of Water Street at the Fairport Harbor Port Authority. It has four ramps and a fee is charged for launching.
Geneva State Park: There are six launch ramps at Geneva State Park.
Ashtabula: The 55-acre Lake Shore Park has a public boat launch.
Conneaut: Both the Conneaut Port Authority city ramp and Conneaut City Marina have ramps open to the public. There is a fee to use the city marina ramp.
Erie and Presque Isle: At the foot of Wayne Street, Captain John E. Lampe Marina has a public ramp. There are four boat launches in the Presque Isle State Park. Vista Launch is recommended only for small watercraft and personal watercraft. Niagara Launch, for small- to medium-sized boats, has two launch lanes. West Pier Launch has four launching lanes and can accommodate large boats. The Lagoon Launch is recommended for small to medium boats.
Barcelona: A launching ramp is available at Daniel Reed Pier that can accommodate larger boats and costs $5.
Dunkirk: West of the break wall, Dunkirk Municipal Harbor has launch ramps.
Irving: There is a city boat launch located just past Hidden Harbor.
Buffalo: South End Marina on Fuhrmann Boulevard is a dry storage marina with a public launch ramp. Close to downtown attractions, Erie Basin Marina has a public launch ramp.
Niagara River: Midway up the west shore of Grand Island on Whitehaven is Big Six Mile Creek Marina. It has a public boat launch. West Canal Marina is attached to a park with a small boat launch.
Fort Erie: On the west side of the bay, Bertie Boating Club offers a public boat launch. Five miles north of the Peace Bridge that connects Buffalo and Fort Erie, the Niagara Parks Marina has a public boat launch ramp.
Port Colborne: Marlon Marina and Yacht Harbour, just west of the downbound entrance to the Welland Ship Canal, features a four-lane boat ramp. The Sugarloaf Harbour Marina on Marina Road also has a boat ramp.
Dunnville: A boat launch is located at Grand Island Marina.
Nanticoke: Hoover’s Marina on Nanticoke Creek has two boat ramps.
Port Dover: The Port Dover Harbour Marina has three daily boat ramps.
Turkey Point: A paved boat ramp is located at Turkey Point Marina on Turkey Point Road.
St. Williams: Fin and Feather Marina, close to Turkey Point, has a boat launch. There is another launch ramp at Hilltop Lodge Cottages and Marina.
Port Rowan: Bluebill Marina, also known as Bayview Harbour Marina, has a launch ramp. Another boat launch is located at Funny Farm Marina.
Long Point: There is a boat launch at Sandboy Marina. Located on Highway 59 at Lake Erie, Marina Shores, Ltd. also has a boat ramp.
Port Burwell: The Municipality of Bayham marina has three launch ramps. There are two more ramps at the Bradcranex Marina.
Port Bruce: The waterfront park in Port Bruce features a boat ramp.
Port Stanley: Stan’s Marina on Colborne Street has a boat ramp and parking.
Port Glasgow and Rodney: There are two launch ramps at the Port Glasgow Yacht Club and Marina, located halfway between Erieau and Port Stanley.
Erieau: Erieau Marina has a steep concrete ramp that can handle almost any boat you can trailer. There is a $10 launch fee. The Summer Place Marina and Campground also has a launch ramp.
Port Wheatley: Wheatley has a newly improved launch ramp that is highly organized during peak times. It is a two lane launch ramp and the personnel there will help you launch and ferry you to and from your truck to expedite the process. There is a $10 fee.
Pelee Island: Scudder Marina has a boat ramp.
Leamington: In the northeast corner of the Leamington Municipal Marina there is a spacious launch ramp and plenty of parking. There is a $10 fee. Sturgeon Woods Marina has a ramp, too.
Kingsville: Kingsville is a commercial harbor and has no facilities for pleasureboats.
Cedar Island: There is a boat launch at Melton Brothers Welding and Marine, Ltd.
Colchester Harbour: The municipal Colchester Harbour has ramps available for $11.
