The Regal Marine website says that the calling card for the 22 FasDeck is “to hang out and have fun.”

Step aboard via the transom walk-thru. There’s a place for everyone, thanks to the oversized bow seating that doubles as loungers. Grabrails and cup holders are strategically placed throughout. Fill-in cushions transform this bow space into a large sunpad, perfect for catching some rays. In the cockpit is a large U-shaped upholstered seat. A portside helm seat converts by flipping the backrest to create additional seating or an aft-facing lounge. Aft across the transom is bench seating that makes for a comfortable spot to watch the kids in the water while at anchor. It’s clear that there’s more than enough room to socialize on the 22 FasDeck.

Regal’s patented FasTrac Hull offers more control, faster speeds and improved fuel economy. The hull boasts 26 percent faster speeds and up to 30 percent better fuel efficiency. With the Volvo 225-hp engine and Duoprop, the 22 FasDeck cruises at 34 mph, with a top end of 47 mph. Opt for the Volvo V6 240-hp and the 22 Fasdeck cruises at 30 mph with a top speed close to 50 mph. That’s the speed you need when towing a skier or tube, or if you need to get home quickly.

Storage abounds under most of the seats, as well as in the centerline deck compartment. There’s a dedicated space to store a 36-quart Igloo cooler.

The stylish, contoured helm station features Faria gauges, a five-position sport grip tilt steering wheel, a Fusion stereo and water-resistant switches. Opt for the touch-screen RegalVue multi-function display to consolidate functions and gauges.

Regal didn’t skimp on the looks, either. With a swept back windshield accented by the forward sweeping Power Tower arch, the 22 FasDeck is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Color it up by customizing the hull, boot stripe and tower shades.
