The NGK Spark Plugs F1 Powerboat Championship Series has announced the return of F1 tunnel boat racing on the Saginaw River in Bay City, Michigan. The 2019 Rockin’ the River event will be held July 12-14. The classes of Formula Lights, Tri Hull and J Hydro will be in competition. The 2018 Formula One Champion, Ashton Rinker, from Riverview, Florida (pictured), will be in attendance to defend his title. —Paul Kemiel
