The Mercury Racing 450R is lighter than other outboards by 300 pounds and even boasts 40% higher torque than Mercury’s 400R. The outboard features a 64-degree aluminum block, control system, gearcase, tie bar and a 4.6 liter V8 FourStroke powerhead.
The control system means you will be able to accelerate quickly and sail smoothly without fear of overheating with the twin charge-air coolers. You’ll also enjoy a quiet ride thanks to the intake attenuator.
