Boats of the Future are Here!

By January 13, 2019No Comments

Angel, the artificial intelligence system in the new Adonis, debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Adonis, by Furrion and Numarine, was the first yacht to be unveiled at the show.

Angel is programmed to assist by voice command with anything from the day’s news to making a reservation at dock-side restaurants to creating a list of meals available onboard. It can also turn lights or media off and on and control the climate onboard. However, the system won’t work unless it recognizes the boat owner’s face when they say via facial recognition. All owners need to do to turn the system on is simply say, “Hi, Angel.”

“It is incredible to see our vision of Adonis be a reality here at CES,” says Furrion Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Matt Fiddler. “Furrion’s history is rooted in marine, and now we are able to combine the best of our technology and futuristic innovation to deliver an experience unlike any other. The addition of Angel gives consumers an always-present assistant, regardless of their internet connection.”
