Blue Guard Innovations (BGI) has announced new smart switches and sensors that detect oil and fuel spills, as well as water in the bilge and engine.
The BG-One technology will help prevent spills from discharging overboard through detection down to 1 millimeter. When water is detected (in the factory default mode), the pump will turn on. When oil or fuel is detected, the pump will turn off.
The device connects to any 12 or 24 Vdc bilge pump and is CE and ISO 8846 Marine Ignition Protection Certified.
