Rossiter Boats Resumes Operations

Canadian marine company Rossiter Boats resumes operations under new ownership after declaring bankruptcy in June, due to a shortage of outboards above 150 hp.

“We suspended production in early June and will resume again next week,” says the company’s new president, Scott Hanson. “We expect to be back at full capacity by the end of the year.”

With engines becoming available, Hanson says the company plans to begin shipping boats out to its 26 dealers by the end of the fourth quarter.
