MJM Announces the 53Z

By March 29, 2018No Comments

MJM is investing in the outboard power trend with its latest model, the 53z. The 53z, deemed the largest recreational outboard express cruiser currently on the market, will run on quad 350-hp Mercury Verado engines. There is the option to upgrade to Mercury 400Rs as well.

The 53z is built off of the previous MJM 43z, and features a Doug Zurn-designed hull made by Boston BoatWorks’ advanced epoxy composite construction. A 3.5-to-1 waterline length-to-beam ratio provides greater stability at higher speeds. Those who may get a bit queasy on fast-moving boats will find relief with the 53z’s Seakeeper, which promises to eliminate 93 percent of boat roll.

MJM boats are about performance and luxury. Below deck, boaters will find a dual master suite layout with standard ensuite heads. Each head comes with its own glass wall shower. Up on the bridge deck, boaters will find lush seating areas and sliding windows that create a fully open or enclosed (and climate controlled) environment.

The first MJM 35z will be launched in 2019. For more information, visit mjmyachts.com.
