Yamaha Adds V MAX SHO 90 to Lineup

By March 2, 2018No Comments

Yamaha Marine is beefing up its line of V MAX SHO outboard motors with the new V MAX SHO 90. This 90-hp outboard is both the smallest and most recent in the SHO line. The company says it leads its class in torque and top speed.

“The new V MAX SHO 90 is the perfect power solution for boaters looking to replace an older two-stroke 90-hp outboard with the clean, quiet efficiency of a four-stroke,” says Ben Speciale, president of Yamaha Marine Group. Yamaha kept anglers in mind by making the engine quieter than previous models. Pair it with propellers that use Yamaha’s Shift Dampener System for an extra-quiet experience. Anglers will also find the outboard is compatible with Yamaha’s variable trolling RPM switch (VTS) for slow, controlled trolling.
