Brunswick Public Foundation Awards $350,000 in Grants

The Brunswick Public Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the boat manufacturer, has awarded seven different organizations grants, totalling $350,000. The foundation also contributed to select United Way organizations working in areas with Brunswick operations that have active employee fundraising campaigns.

The seven groups that received grants are:

  • Alliance for the Great Lakes, which has focused on conservation and restoration of the lakes since 1970.
  • American Council on Exercise: A professional and health coach certification organization.
  • American Rivers: Works to protect wild rivers, restore damaged ones and conserve clean water sources.
  • Fish America: A group that supports restoring marine and estuary habitats, improving water quality, increasing fish populations and advancing fisheries research.
  • National Fish and Wildlife Foundation: Established by Congress in 1984, works to protect and restore fish, wildlife, plants and habitats.
  • Ocean Conservancy: Educates and empowers people to protect the oceans.
  • PHIT America Foundation: A cause and campaign dedicated to increasing physical activity and fitness.
