MBIA Annual Award Luncheon Scheduled for December

The annual Awards Luncheon by the Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA) is scheduled for Thursday, December 7 at the Radisson Hotel in Lansing. At the lunch, individuals will be honored with induction into the MBIA Hall of Fame, the Ray L. Underwood Lifetime Achievement Award and Lighthouse Awards. The event will take place during the 2017 Recreational Boating Educational Conference.

“It’s always an honor to award people who have given so much to the recreational boating industry in Michigan,” says MBIA Executive Director Nicki Polan in a press release. “This year’s winners are no exception, giving to the industry, as well as serving and advancing our Association.”

Award winners and honorees have already been selected. They include: Eric Foster of Belle Maer Harbor to be inducted into the MBIA Hall of Fame; Jim Krause also of Belle Maer Harbor for the Ray L. Underwood Lifetime Achievement Award; and Jim Morrow of Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and Pete Beauregard, Jr. of Colony Marine for Lighthouse Awards.
