By September 6, 2017No Comments

It’s never too early to start thinking about gift ideas for the holiday, and Boston Whaler has its boaters covered. In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Motorbooks has published “Unsinkable: The History of Boston Whaler” by Matthew D. Plunkett.

“Unsinkable” is a roughly 200-page book on the history, culture and legend of Boston Whaler. It begins in 1958 with the company’s first boat, a 13-footer dubbed the “blue bathtub,” and ends with the most recent 420 Outrage. The book includes interviews with past and present employees and more than 200 photos — many of which have never been published.

“Unsinkable” will be available on September 12 for $35.
