Boston Whaler Updates Montauk Models

By August 29, 2017No Comments

Boston Whaler is celebrating its 60th anniversary early with double the updates. The boat manufacturer has announced new versions of the 150 and 170 Montauk models, featuring improvements to both versatility and design.

Boston Whaler has made the 150 and 170 more customizable for boaters. For example, anglers can opt for the fishing package, which adds on a compass, a 36-quart or 72-quart cooler seat, console-mounted rod holders and tackle drawers. The stylish teak package includes teak boarding steps and swim ladder flooring.

The 170 features a 25-gallon fuel tank, as well as a forward-integrated fishbox that drains overboard.

Both models have Raymarine electronics available, and in 2018 will come with a special custom 60th anniversary badge.
