Now is the time to act for any boater who wants to participate in the Door County Classic & Wooden Boat Festival. Organizers have issued a call for entries for this year’s festival, which will take place August 12-13. Organizers are taking entries for boats to be exhibited and for teams to compete in the Sikaflex Challenge.
The Door County Classic & Wooden Boat Festival features a variety of boats each year, which can be displayed trailered, in-water or on the grass. Entrants will compete for the People’s Choice honors. Teams that enter to compete in the Sikaflex Challenge boatbuilding competition will construct vessels with a limited amount of wood and tools, decorate, and then sea trial their vessels.
