2017 Lighthouse Festival Tickets On Sale

By April 6, 2017No Comments

Tickets to the popular Door County Lighthouse Festival are now on sale. This year the festival will take place from June 9–11, and is the festival’s 24th run. Tickets were previously on sale exclusively for Door County Maritime Museum members, selling out a popular boat tour to Rock Island; however, there are still a number of tours with open spots now available to the public.

The Lighthouse Festival is bringing back many land and water tours from previous years, as well as spicing things up with a new offering. Returning boat tours include: A trip from Gills Rock to Plum Island; an excursion to Chambers Island; a tour circling Plum and Pilot islands from Gills Rock; Chicago Fireboat tours; and sunset dessert cruises. Organizers warn that the boat tours are extremely popular and likely to sell out, so those interested in a tour should book their tickets sooner rather than later.

New this year is a Lakeshore Lighthouse Cruise out of Baileys Harbor, which will take attendees to see the Cana Island lighthouse, the Baileys Harbor “bird cage” light and Range Lights, as well as some shipwrecks. There will also be a number of land-based tours for those prone to seasickness.
