Win Vacation Tour of Lake Erie

By March 16, 2017No Comments

One lucky winner will receive a free, seven-day tour of Ohio’s Lake Erie shore this summer. Northern Ohio’s visitors bureaus have banned together to create the Tour the Shore vacation prize package in order to boost awareness of the region and all it has to offer.

Each of the seven contributing visitors bureaus along Lake Erie were responsible for contributing one full day of activities for the vacation package. The resulting seven-day trip includes a diverse range of activities, including: One day touring wineries in Northeast Ohio, followed by a night at the Lodge at Geneva-on-the Lake; ferry tickets, a golf-cart rental and overnight stay on Put-in-Bay; ziplining in Oberlin; and tickets to Rock Hall with dinner at Lola Bistro. If the contest is successful, organizers say they may run it again this fall.

The winner of the Tour the Shore contest may bring one guest. Organizers recommend that only adults enter, as the winery tour requires guests to be of drinking age. The winner may plan to leave on the trip starting June 1; if they have a difficult time getting seven consecutive days off from work, organizers say they may be able to split the trip up. Only one entry per household is allowed; entries are due by April 30.
