It seems that everyone is getting in on the wakesurfing trend: Bayliner Boats announced this summer that it acquired Heyday Inboards and immediately added Heyday’s Inboard WT-1 and WT-2 models to its lineup. Bayliner is outfitting its Heyday Inboard models with PCM engines and Mercury V-Drives.
Historically, Heyday has taken a value approach to the wakesurf and wakeboard industry. Heyday hopes to reach a larger market through the Bayliner acquisition, while Bayliner will use the deal to break into the wakesurfing community.
