Sea-Doo Unveils 2017 Line-Up Updates

By August 23, 2016No Comments

Updates and additions to Sea-Doo’s 2017 line-up maintain the brand’s adrenaline-pumping image, while improving on efficiency and affordability.

“The Sea-Doo watercraft line has never been stronger,” says Anne Bélec, an executive at BRP, Sea-Doo’s parent company. “By offering new models that continue to focus on rider needs such as affordability and efficiency, and of course fun, more people can find the right model for them and make the dream of owning a Sea-Doo watercraft a reality.”

Among the company’s new models for 2017 is the Sea-Doo SPARK TRIXX, which has been crafted specifically to help riders perform tricks. The SPARK TRIXX comes with step wedges, extended range Variable Trim Systems and a handlebar with adjustable riser.

Sea-Doo’s 2017 GTS and GTI models will be available in what the company says is a more accessible price point. Light and fuel-efficient, these models feature the Rotax 900 HO ACE engine and Polytec hull material. Also new for Sea-Doo is use of the Rotax 1500 HO ACE engine, which will allow for more mid-range performance: The engine runs efficiently on regular fuel (rather than premium gas) and produces 15 more hp. The Rotax 1500 engine can be found in the GTR-X 230, GTR 230, WAKE PRO 230, GTX Limited 230 models.
