Southport Boats’ 33-foot model is no longer just for fishing: The new 33 LX builds on the original 33 platform to create a much more relaxing and sociable boating experience. The 33 LX features a new deck plan that makes it ideal for both anglers and cruisers. In particular, a forward 270-degree wraparound pit seating area on the port side provides ample space for hanging out and enjoying a few new amenities, such as extra refrigeration, a microwave, a coffee maker, and food and beverage storage. The social circle extends to the aft cockpit, which contains an L-shaped wraparound lounge and wetbar. Southport will debut the 33 LX at the Newport and Fort Lauderdale boat shows this fall.
