A renamed and revamped Michigan City Boat Show is coming to Michigan City, Indiana from August 11 to 14. The newly-named Chicagoland In-Water Boat Show is being held at Washington Park, and will have more than 200 boats on display, including ski boats, pontoons, cruisers, yachts and fishing boats. Anyone who purchases a boat at the show will receive free dockage at the Washington Park Marina for the remainder of the summer.
The boat show will also have a new Kids Zone, featuring Water Rollerz & Rockin’ Rollin’ Bubbles (large inflatable balls that kids can roll around in) and performances by the one and only Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel. There will be plenty of opportunities for adults to have fun too, with musical performances by Jeff Tucker and a large party barge.
Admission for adults is $12, $8 for seniors, $8 for active military members, and children under 12 get in free. To really get some bang for your buck, purchase tickets online before the show for a $2 discount.
