MasterCraft Unveils New XT23 Crossover

By July 7, 2016No Comments

The XT23 is MasterCraft’s latest “do it all” crossover model for 2017. The multi-sport boat is set to act as the core model of the XT line, which will bridge MasterCraft’s entry-level NXT line and its premium X series.

MasterCraft is billing the XT23 as the ultimate watersport boat: The XT23 comes with MasterCraft’s Gen 2 Surf System and 2,600 lbs. of built-in ballast. Engine options include General Motors’ Gen V engines marinized by Ilmor Marine. The XT23 comes standard with Ilmor’s 5000 MPI V8 model.

There are a number of new features on the XT23, including the Dockstar Handling System — a flanking rudder system to facilitate maneuvering in tight spots. The XT23 is also totally customizable from bow to stern: Boaters can choose from a litany of color options, as well as customizable towers. MasterCraft redesigned the hull to create more interior depth, which in turn creates space for lounging and surplus storage. The 23-foot, 4-inch boat can accommodate up to 16 people.
