Brunswick Boat Group has named Huw Bower as president.
Bower joined Brunwick in 2006 and became president of Boston Whaler in 2013. As head honcho, Bower will be in charge of 14 brands that make up the Brunswick Boat Group, including Bayliner, Boston Whaler, Crestliner, Harris, Lowe, Meridian, Quicksilver and Sea Ray.
“Huw’s track record of accomplishment and demonstrated leadership capabilities will serve him well in this new assignment,” Mark D. Schwabero, chairman and CEO of Brunswick Corp., says in a press release. “Under his direction at various Brunswick brands, Huw has consistently grown the business, adeptly led new product development and market launches, improved efficiencies, deepened our relationships with key partners, and imbued a winning spirit and confidence among his colleagues.”
