Beneteau Unveils Flagship Oceanis Yacht 62

By June 7, 2016No Comments

At the U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis this October, Beneteau will premiere the Oceanis Yacht 62 — the first model of the boat builder’s new Oceanis Yacht line and its largest luxury sailing yacht to date.

The 62-foot, 7-inch sailboat features a chined hull, twin rudders and a nicely balanced sail plan. The six sunbathing areas are perfect for sun worshipers, and an optional fully-equipped aft galley is crucial for those who love to entertain. Below deck is a roomy salon and galley, filled with natural light thanks to large portholes that line the hull. Boaters can choose from either a three- or four-cabin configuration. At the back of the boat, the swim platform inclines to facilitate dinghy launching.

The sleek and sporty design of the Oceanis Yacht 62 is the result of collaboration between Beneteau, Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design and Italian designer Pierangelo Andreani.
