Each year, Brig Boats produces more than 40,000 boats — including 70 percent of the RIB market in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region — from Europe to Australia. And now, at the Miami International Boat Show in February, Brig Boats announced it would officially arrive in the U.S. market.
“While U.S. distributorship had previously been handled out of Toronto, Canada, Brig USA officially has taken over,” says Jack Behrendsen of Islander Marine Sales in Marblehead, Ohio, in a press release. “We couldn’t be more excited. We are 100 percent dedicated to inflatables, and we’re selling all available Brig models, from the smallest to the largest.”
The Ukraine-based company already sells in more than 60 countries. Brigs are known for their affordability and versatility: they are perfect for snorkelers, drivers, anglers, picnickers, casual cruisers and water sports junkies. An Eagle 780 even appeared in the film San Andreas, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Popular Brig Boats lineups include the Eagle Series, the Navigator Series, the Falcon Series and a soon expected 33-foot category.
