The 17th Pan American Games, a major international multi-sport event, will take place between July 10 and 26 in Toronto, Ontario. Approximately 6,135 athletes from 41 nations will participate in 36 sports, including sailing, rowing, open water swimming and wakeboarding.
The 2015 Parapan American Games will be hosted shortly after, August 7-15. The event also features PANAMANIA, a 35-day arts and culture festival with more than 250 unique performances and exhibitions between July 10 and August 15.
The 2015 Pan Am Games are the first completely eco- friendly games that are fully carbon neutral.
