Moosejaw and Great Lakes Proud Partner to Protect Great Lakes

By July 11, 2014No Comments

Want a handmade, limited edition t-shirt that not only features the beloved Great Lakes shape, but also gives back to the sweetwater seas?

The new Limited Edition Moosejaw x Great Lakes Proud Collab Tee helps to protect the very waters it displays. For every shirt sold, Moosejaw will give $5 to Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium Great Lakes Action Days, a program designed to engage volunteers to maintain and restore the Lake Michigan shoreline. The collaboration intends to protect and restore Great Lakes ecosystems and local habitats.
“We are thrilled to partner with Great Lakes Proud and Moosejaw to support a shared passion of protecting and preserving our Great Lakes,” says Reid Bogert, Coordinator of Great Lakes and Sustainability at Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium. “It’s a treat to have a fun and inspirational product by a Midwest-grown brand to help expand Shedd’s environmental stewardship program.”

Moosejaw, one of the largest outdoor gear and apparel companies in the world, carries brands including The North Face, Patagonia and Mountain Hardwear.

Great Lakes Proud creates Great Lakes themed t-shirts, decals and accessories. The company was started by Michigan native Austin Holsinger and currently has a number of partnerships with Great Lakes-based organizations.
