Cutwater Boats recently unveiled its latest model, the Cutwater 30 Command Bridge, at the Seattle Boat Show in mid-January. This is the third model designed and built on the company’s 30-foot stepped-keel hull design, with the addition of an upper helm station and topside seating.
“Not many builders offer the all-season capability and versatility that we’ve designed into this new boat, especially in this size range,” says Jeff Messmer, Cutwater Boats vice president of marketing.
The 30 Command Bridge features a single 370 hp Volvo diesel inboard engine and 10-foot beam to deliver spirited, economical performance and a generous interior. The upper helm addition means boating can easily be extended into the shoulder seasons, which is ideal for the Great Lakes cruiser.
Cutwater has been building fully-equipped, trailerable family cruisers since 2010 and offers 26-, 28-, and 30-foot models. The company is a division of Fluid Motion LLC, which also builds the Ranger Tug line of boats from 21 to 31 feet.
