WI Association Enjoys Boatbuilding on a Small Scale

By August 21, 2013No Comments

Have a passion for boatbuilding and desire camaraderie with those who enjoy boats and the water? Then you’ll fit right in with members of the Wisconsin Scale Boating Association (WSBA).

WSBA is a group of active boat and ship modelers with interests in all types of vessels. WSBA operates R/C model boats powered by electricity, wind (sailboats) or live steam; no gas or glow fuel-powered boats are allowed.

Membership covers a wide geographic area centered on metropolitan Milwaukee, but ranges from Green Bay, Wisconsin in the north, to Kenosha, Wisconsin in the south, to Rockford, Illinois in the west.

The club meets informally on Sunday afternoons from 1-3 p.m. in Sheridan Park, just east of Lake Drive in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The group is always open and welcoming to new members.
