Anchor manufacturer Fortress Anchors will remain in the family, as the original founder, Don Hallerberg’s grandson, Dylan, purchased the company from his father D’Milo. This means that three generations of Hallerbergs have owned Fortress.
“It’s an honor and privilege to be able to follow in my father’s and grandfather’s footsteps to lead an outstanding group of people producing and supporting what I truly believe are the best anchors available,” says Dylan Hallerberg.
Since its beginning in 1986, Fortress Anchors has built anchors in the U.S. under the Fortress and Guardian brand names. There are 17 different models on the market now.
