Weldcraft RYS Great Lakes Edition

Available as an optional upgrade on any of the dealership’s Weldcraft models, the RYS Great Lakes Edition includes a wide range of custom features that really enhance the value of what’s already a terrific big-water boat. 

“We are fortunate to have talented people who can do custom welding, custom electrical systems, electronics and custom fishing gear,” says Brent Reed of Reed Yacht Sales. “Because of this, we are able to create our RYS Great Lakes Edition and offer it on any of our Weldcraft models.”

So what’s included in the Great Lakes Edition? Of course, there’s the expected stuff like a full range of custom fishing gear, including state-of-the-art downriggers, full-beam custom aluminum rod racks and net holders, bow-mounted electric trolling motors and remote anchoring systems. But the Great Lakes Edition goes further than that, adding: Complete custom helms with full flush-mounted electronics; ultra-convenient aft control stations; custom sound systems for greater enjoyment on the water; a wide selection of onboard battery chargers and integrated charging relays; cup holders throughout; and even integrated transom fish cleaning racks. 

Beyond that, the package includes custom lighting systems that provide an enhanced level of safety without compromising an angler’s night vision. Extensive powder coating options and solid anodized aluminum rubrails augment the Weldcraft’s already legendary durability, while full cockpit canvas enclosures provide unmatched protection from the elements. 

“From the smaller boats all the way up to the Cuddy Kings, the RYS Great Lakes Edition enhances the value of every Weldcraft model,” Reed says.
