The Marquis M42 has a new standard power configuration featuring triple outboard-powered engines. Marquis released the original M42 just one year ago as a relaunch of the Marquis brand. The original model offered inboard power, which is now optional for the new model.

“We are excited to add the outboard version to the M42. The boat looks absolutely stunning, performs like a thoroughbred with the standard Merc 400 Verados and has all the requirements needed for an incredible, complete day on the water and when desired, overnight,” says Marquis Yachts President and CEO Rob Parmentier.

The new M42 OB offers all of the same features and accommodations as its predecessor, but with increased aft storage space made available by the addition of outboard power. Boaters will enjoy the large aft sunbed, expansive cockpit, wetbar, luxurious cabin with an easy-to-use galley, convertible forward seating and a head featuring a stand-up shower stall.

The M42 OB is expected to make its official debut to boaters in Osaka, Japan — a first for Marquis.
