With its recently announced acquisition of electric pontoon manufacturer ELUX Marine, Pure Watercraft gains an immediate presence in the upper Midwest market — the nation’s largest per capita boating market.

“As we begin our 2021 launch year, we know we need to be close to our customers,” said Pure Watercraft CEO Andy Rebele. “By acquiring ELUX, we connect to a key boating market with a team that has established itself as a leader in launching electric boats.”

Since its founding in 2017, Minnesota-based ELUX has delivered luxury electric pontoons to a growing following. Its expertise in the upper Midwest boating market will prove integral to expanding Pure Watercraft’s presence in the region, the perfect fit with Pure Watercraft’s electric outboard motors and complete electric boats.

Starting with the 2021 model year, ELUX will focus exclusively on the launch of Pure Watercrat’s electric boat products in the upper Midwest market, building upon and expanding Pure Watercraft’s innovative offerings that make boating more enjoyable and accessible, while helping the planet through sustainability.
