Boat rental agencies nationwide are invited to join in the Rental Boat Safety community through a campaign funded by the Sports Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund. Rental Boat Safety provides free boating safety training resources to help ensure that rental boat customers across the nation stay safe on the water.
Each year, RentalBoatSafety.com impacts over 800,000 rental customers through educational videos and safety training offered to more than 3,200 marinas across the nation. Rental Boat Safety offers vessel-specific training videos, checklists, video PSAs, blogs and other U.S. Coast Guard-approved resources. Resources are available for different types of boats, ranging from paddlecraft to PWCs, powerboats and houseboats. At the end of education and after successfully completing a comprehensive knowledge assessment quiz, boaters will receive a badge of completion they can then use to rent a boat.
