Heritage brand Limestone Boat Company Limited is poised for new growth with its recent finalized acquisition of Ebbtide Holdings, LLC, a manufacturer of quality watercraft for over 40 years in White Bluff, Tennessee.
The acquisition will allow Limestone to oversee the design, manufacturing, marketing and sales, and distribution of three major brands: Aquasport, Boca Bay and the Limestone model line-up.
“The acquisition of Ebbtide Holdings is a keystone transaction in the continued growth of our company,” says Scott Hanson, Limestone’s CEO. “The combination of heritage brands Limestone and Aquasport provides continuity in reputation for safety, performance and quality, coupled with the addition of Boca Bay, and potential resurrection of the Ebbtide brands further diversifying the company’s product offerings.”
Product development, marketing, sales and distribution will still be handled by the Collingwood, Ontario, team, while manufacturing will remain based in Tennessee. The company currently has over 50 independent dealer locations throughout the United State and Canada, and is poised for more growth.
