The leader in aluminum rigid inflatable boats (RIB), Highfield is set for some exciting new launches on the heels of its all-new Sport RIB Collection success, just in time for the fall boat show season. The all new Ultralite RIB model plus innovative new upgrade options are set to debut at the coming shows.

The new Ultralite 220 offers an entry-level model for the series, with a design that is roomy and strong, but at 65 pounds still light enough to be launched and recovered by a single person and transported on an SUV roof rack. The new UL 220 is built to last with a hull constructed of 2-2.5mm thick powder-coated marine-grade aluminum and a 1100-dtex fabric tube. A 6-hp outboard and fuel under 130 pounds complete this lightweight RIB.

“Light weight combined with high quality and durability is the concept behind the new offerings from Highfield Boats this year. We want to give our customers the option of owning an inflatable with a rigid aluminum hull for better performance and comfort that is still light enough to fit on their mother boat,” says Tom Watson, general manager of Highfield USA.

In addition to the new UL 220, Highfield will be releasing a new GT Console option for its Classic 340, 360 and 380 RIBS. The new option combines light weight with luxury features, and includes a helm console with steering wheel and dashboard space for a 5-inch chartplotter, side seat with storage beneath, navigation lights and bow cushion.

Another new release is the Classic Storage Box, a large lockbox that mounts securely to the deck providing extra storage, and even offers an optional cushion for additional seating on your RIB.

Additionally, the Forward Arch option for the Sport 520 RIB combines stainless steel arches and an integrated Bimini-style top to offer protection from the sun, and includes a tow point on top for additional functionality.

“With three different RIB series and a host of options that allow you to configure your boat your way, Highfield has your tender,” Watson says. “Please come see us at the fall boat shows.”
