ULTRA-YACHT, a Florida chartering business, introduced the first-ever all electric Duffy Boat featuring a Solar Charging option at the St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show January 20-23. The new Duffy Bayshore 18 with Solar Charging features an affordable, low-maintenance alternative to traditional combustion engine boats.

The Bayshore 18 can transport up to nine people, operates at cruising speed for up to 12 hours and was introduced at the show for $59,596. Zero-emission, ultra-quiet and low-maintenance, the electric boat also provides a way to top off your batteries by harnessing the power of the sun. Duffy Boat’s “Plug and Play” technology further makes Duffy models easy and reliable to operate, and the advanced DC motors and composite weedless propellers are warrantied for the life of the original owner.

“The Duffy Electric Boat Company has been making the first and finest electric boats right here in the USA for over 50 years. Starting today, we are able to offer a great Duffy boat that has been enhanced with a Solar Charging option for a carefree full day on the water,” says ULTRA-YACHT Founder and CEO Ed Kolodzieski. “A Duffy is an outstanding way to explore the natural beauty of Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway, bays, lakes and rivers while producing zero-emissions. It is great to relax and have fun at 5 mph without ever stopping for gas.”
