Sunstream Boat Lifts has announced an industry first with its Sunstream Bluetooth transmitter and smartphone app for Apple and Android devices that helps enhance the boating experience through remote operation and diagnostics of Sunstream boat lifts and Swiftshield automatic boat cover systems.

The transmitter and app are based on the new Bluetooth 5 standard, and offer impressive range and a powerful microprocessor in the remote control, allowing for instant and more precise control of the lift or cover. In addition to longer range, the remote control operator provides two-way communication and diagnostic capabilities, displaying current voltage, charging status, battery health, performance and diagnostic data directly to your smartphone. Users can even email data directly from the app to their dealer for remote diagnostics.
