Gulf Crosser Yachts, producer of custom and semi-custom boats, announced its new Gulf Crosser 44 center console, a smaller sister to the 52-foot model yet including many of the same features in a smaller format.

“We’ve had so many people tell us over the years that they love our designs and the quality of our craftsmanship but need something smaller than our flagship 52,” says CEO Hunt James. “We believe that the new Gulf Crosser 44 is the ideal answer to those requests. The boat is designed for everything from cruising to serious tournament fishing and can also serve as the ultimate multipurpose superyacht tender. And, since we build every boat for a specific customer, we can provide just about any option imaginable.”

Designed for multipurpose use, the 44 features an air-conditioned and heated pilothouse fully enclosed in glass. There are entry doors on both sides and a lower cabin accessible from the upper salon that includes a large bed, head with enclosed shower and day galley.

Bow seating and a sunpad positioned so it won’t block the captain’s view provides plenty of space on deck. The 44 comes with triple or quadruple outboard motors, an optional tower and 700 gallons of fuel for long-range trips. Multiple optional layouts, including the traditional open center console configuration, are available.
