Cranchi A46

Italian boat builder Cranchi Yachts has actualized the ultimate dayboat in its newest luxury tender, the A46.

Subtle but elegant, the vertical bow is an impressive look and is backed by dual Volvo IPS 650 drives, joystick control and a bow thruster. Designed by Aldo Cranchi and Christian Grande, the A46 is a premium handcrafted cocktail of materials, magnificent teaks and matte finishes offset by a brilliant shine and dominating focal points.

Triple helm seats address the distinctive helm punctuated by two Garmin multifunction displays. Fusion stereo, Bluetooth wireless puck chargers throughout the vessel and a host of other digital delights make this a tech-savvy dream.

The cockpit is a large open space, sheltered by a hardtop that completes the bold elegant lines of the wraparound windscreen. The rigid roof opens in seconds with a blade system. At the bow, a second sunbed provides another social area featuring a built-in refrigerator and Mediterranean sunshade.

Prep snacks and meals at the centerline galley, complete with a stove, sink, refrigerator and ice machine. Dine alfresco while seated around the table on either the aft sofa or the large stern sundeck with an adjustable backrest.

Accommodations are found below, including a forward settee that can be transformed into a queen-size bed, an aft full-beam cabin, as well as a head complete with a separate shower.

Yacht Works has imported a couple of these models, with more on the way, and Kurtis Sandmire says customers are drawn to the fold-down balconies, where both sides can be instantly opened with a servo-electric mechanism, as well as the Besenzoni swim platform that can move up and down. Alfresco dining, dancing, relaxation and sunbathing — the list of leisure activities is endless.
