The second model in its Offshore Express Cruiser Series, the series-priced, limited production BB44 perfectly blends Boston Boatworks craftsmanship and experience in composite technology and best methods and materials in manufacturing with Doug Zurn’s aesthetic refinement and hull expertise and Winch Design’s elegant interior design.
A safe, comfortable ocean-worthy yacht well-equipped for day use, Boston Boatworks’ BB44 features an owner’s exclusive stateroom with a private head and shower, while additional space is offered guests or kids in the salon and pilot house where tables lower to become double beds.
A spacious, luxurious interior features plenty of light, while boaters enjoy a smooth, dry ride courtesy of Doug Zurn’s design. “The collaboration between Winch, Boston Boatworks and our design team offers the US market a new generation of offshore express cruisers. When our owners head home on the launch after a satisfying day on the water, they’ll be looking back at the surrounding fleet, and thinking, ‘The BB44 is the most exciting and beautiful boat in the harbor,’” says Zurn.
“After nearly three decades operating as a full-service shipyard, creating and servicing our own custom and contract production boats, we have realized our long-term dream of fabricating innovative Offshore Express Cruisers under the Boston Boatworks brand,” adds Scott Smith, founder and CEO of Boston Boatworks. “The BB44 incorporates all the forward thinking we developed for the BB52, packaging these advances into this disruptive 44-footer.”
The BB44 is powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 with DPI Aquamatic Drives and has an unexpected launch of late summer and October 2024.
