Yamaha and Siren Marine announced the new Siren Connected Boat mobile app, which allows customers to personalize their boating experience with real-time security and specially curated information. Boaters can monitor real-time vessel security, multiple and flexible boat monitoring and tracking functions and access convenience features including remote digital switching directly from their smartphones or watches with the new app.

“Through Siren Connected Boat, Yamaha and Siren offer never-before-seen innovation and benefits that allow boat owners to ‘be’ on board their boat even when they can’t be in person,” says Andrew Cullen, director of connectivity at Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit. “The app is designed to put everything a customer needs to know about his or her boat at their fingertips. It also gives them the ability to leverage Siren technology and all the benefits of remote connectivity, security and monitoring.”

Siren can also integrate with Yamaha’s Command Link Plus protocol to automatically remind boaters and their preferred dealers about scheduled maintenance requirements and due dates based on actual engine use. Users can also access maintenance records for the boat, updated by either the servicing dealer or the DIY boater. The new low power mode allows customers to extend their battery life during times when full functionality is not needed (such as winterization) or when boat power availability is limited.

Siren Connected Mobile Boat app will be available for download in the U.S. on February 15, 2024 in both a basic free tier and premium tier that requires installation and activation of a Siren 3 Pro main device and cellular service, which dealers can install on site and select boat builders currently offer as standard equipment on select 2024 models.
