Wellcraft’s new 243 Fisherman delivers an enhanced evolution of the beloved and proven Fisherman series, building on the proven model with design enhancements that deliver stronger offshore performance, fishability and onboard comfort, while maintaining its rugged pedigree.
The 243 Fisherman will make its world premier at the Miami International Boat Show from February 11 – 15, 2026, alongside the new Wellcraft 28 T-Top making its North American debut. The new 243 Fisherman has been re-engineered from the deck up, offering an expansive aft cockpit that is one of the most spacious and capable fishing workspaces in this class. An expanded walk around layout delivers 360 degree fishability, while a deep-V hull and elevated freeboard provides a secure, dry ride, with best-in-class 188-gallon fuel capacity that allows owners to stay out on the water even longer.
A redesigned bow allows for seamless installation and operation of a trolling motor, with a redesign that better accommodates families and social time on the water with more comfortable seating and convertible layouts. The helm includes intuitive controls, a large dash that can accommodate dual displays and a protective windscreen. Sun protection is provided through an updated hardtop, and rod storage, a 23-gallon livewell and insulated in-deck fish boxes keep the Wellcraft 243 angler friendly.
