Axopar Launches 38 Range at boot Düsseldorf

By February 2, 2026No Comments

Boot Düsseldorf was the stage for the world debut of Axopar’s new 38 range, starting with the Axopar 38 XC Cross Cabin, a model that builds on the DNA of the Axopar 37, prioritizing onboard livability and comfort while delivering an ideal driving experience. The 38 range is the result of more extensive investment in research and development than any prior Axopar range, designed to adapt to different uses with minimum compromise and effort, and delivering the most modular experience yet, with extended configuration possibilities allowing customers to optimize areas to their preferences.

Built atop a tri-generation hull, the 38 XC delivers stability, agility and performance across low and high cruising speeds, while setting a standard for fast cruising, enabling high cruising speed up to 38 knots with only a 10-15% increase in fuel consumption, and a stunning top speed close to 50 knots.

“My honest belief is that the all-new Axopar 38 range is one of the absolute best handling boats in the world. So much effort has been invested, and knowledge has been utilized to make this possible,” explains Jan-Erik Viitala, Axopar’s founding partner. “The exceptional drivability is the result of thousands of hours on the water, fine-tuning how the boat enters waves, how it carries speed, and how it settles into turns. It’s not about raw speed — it’s about control, balance, the uncompromising connection between the driver and the water providing that feeling of trust the moment your hands touch the wheel. When a boat behaves exactly as you expect, that’s when boating becomes truly enjoyable.”

Comfort and livability are prioritized onboard, with four connected yet distinct living areas and accommodation for up to 12 people.

Set to launch later this year, the Axopar 38 Sun Top features an open layout with a fixed sunroof, ideal for those who value open boating, designed for entertaining, al fresco dining and watersports. The 38 range will further expand with the Axopar 38 Cross Top launch also later this year, blending elements of open and enclosed boating for the best of both worlds.
