Avikus announced the latest addition to its NEUBOAT autonomous vessel system, NEUBOAT Control. The new launch enables the vessel autonomy features of NEUBOAT Dock and NEUBOAT Navi and provides the interface required for smart navigation and auto-docking features. NEUBOAT Control works in tandem with BEUBOAT Dock on a joystick-equipped vessel to allow for sensor-based docking space, automatically calculating distance and environmental factors to easily and safely dock a vessel. It seamlessly integrates with existing systems, allowing for a more safe, efficient and enjoyable boating experience.

NEUBOAT Control also uses Avikus’ SMART AUTOPILOT system to develop a sensor-based object recognition map while underway for adaptive cruise-control and real-time collision avoidance on a set path. The system is now available for OEM applications or certified dealer refits.
