Starting this year, Transport Canada will now charge a $24 fee for Pleasure Craft Licences (PCL), which must be renewed every five years.
The Pleasure Craft Licence (PCL) is a unique identification number for recreational boats that have one or more engines with a combined power of at least 10 hp. Check your license expiration date here: bit.ly/ExpireCheck
