After announcing the acquisition of a key waterfront West Bay property in Traverse City, Michigan, Walstrom Marine signals plans to develop the property into a full-service, 100-slip marina. The property includes the Viridian commercial office building on South West Bay Shore Drive, which Walstrom and its partner, Far Side Properties, purchased and are now evaluating for redevelopment.
“Living and working in the Grand Traverse area, we know that lake access for boaters has reached a critical status. Folks are waiting upwards of a decade to get a slip,” says Kyle Oleson, general manager of Walstrom Marine in Traverse City. “We want to be part of the solution.”
