Apreamare’s new Gozzo 42 represents the latest milestone in the evolution of the company’s Gozzo line. Showcasing a contemporary style while retaining the spirit of the Sorrento gozzo boat, the Gozzo 42 was designed by Cataldo Aprea, Marco Casali of Too Design and Umberto Tagliavini of Marine Design. Featuring a more sporty, modern look, the new model’s hull deckhouse and windows have been redesigned for a more dynamic silhouette, with a sleek hardtop for all-season cruising. The design process also focused on technical and functional performance optimization.
Defined by its onboard livability, the cockpit features a large sunpad next to a spacious C-shaped sofa, along with a second area for socializing, and a sunpad and facing sofas in the bow. The wet bar can be customized to fit the owner’s needs, including a refrigerator, an ice maker, barbecue, grill or induction hobs. A large swim platform features a retractable ladder and tender lift system.
Inside, the open layout includes a master cabin that can be separated from the living area by a door, and features plenty of storage. An optional second cabin includes two beds. With optional power options including two Volvo Penta D6 engines or two Volvo Penta IPS units, the Gozzo 42 can reach top speeds between 27 and 36 knots, with a 1,200 liter fuel capacity offering long range cruising capabilities. The spacious, classic model can accommodate up to 14 people, delivering a fresh, timeless take on the traditional gozzo boat.
