The Grosse Pointe Yacht Club on Lake St. Clair will host the Great Lakes Boating Festival May 16 – 17, 2026. The annual boat show is free to attend and features over 70 boats from 40 exhibitors, plus live music, fresh grilled food, lawn games, cocktails and more, with retail booths offering nautical products and services, artwork, electronics and other marine-focused items.
Sip, stroll and admire the boats along the docks of the prestigious yacht club, and even partake in a club tour at 1pm or 3pm both days. New to the show this year, non-members are welcome to dine at the Mariners Dining Room for lunch on Saturday, May 16.
The show is produced by the Michigan Boating Industries Association, and sponsored by Carbliss Premium Cocktails and Grosse Pointe News. Hours are Saturday noon to 7pm, and Sunday noon to 5pm. Parking is $20 at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, or park for free and take a complimentary shuttle to the show from North High School, 707 Vernier Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
