When the Eastbay 38 was launched at the 1993 Miami International Boat Show, it made an indelible mark on the marine industry in the same fashion as the iconic Grand Banks boat brand.

And the new Eastbay 60 (EB60) is destined to continue the remarkable success of its predecessors.

“We spent a lot of hours discussing what it would take to create the most advanced, most luxurious Eastbay available,” says Mark Richards, Grand Banks CEO and chief designer. “Looking back, employing our hull platform — which focuses on efficiency, maximum comfort and a soft ride — now seems like a no-brainer.”

Ride, performance and luxury all intersect aboard the EB60 and are the product of wide-ranging investment in cutting-edge technology and advanced boat-building techniques. Riding on the latest iteration of its V-Warp Hull — exclusively designed to stay in the water, increase waterline length and tackle adverse sea conditions —
the EB60 sets a new standard for the brand.

From the hand-picked, satin-finished teak, custom-matched and fit by Grand Banks’ veteran woodworkers, to the roomy salon and cockpit and fully found galley, these spaces will serve the many various gatherings the Eastbay 60 will inevitably host. The interior design team works with each owner to fulfill individual needs. Accommodations include a three-stateroom, two-head layout with fine, detailed woodwork, finishes and upscale hardware.

“I have a tremendous amount of respect for the Eastbay heritage and pedigree,” Richards says. “So to introduce anything less than revolutionary to this market was simply not an option. This brand has always attracted serious yachtsmen, and I’m confident they won’t be disappointed when they sea trial the EB60.”
