Harold Floyd Hall, founder of Hall’s Sport Center and a longtime leader in Michigan’s boating community, passed away unexpectedly on May 5 at the age of 74. Hall launched the boat dealership in 1972 from his parents’ front yard, growing it into a respected four-location operation known throughout West Michigan.
In 2024, Hall’s Sport Center was recognized among Boating Industry’s Top 20 dealers nationwide. A lifelong Muskegon resident, Hall is remembered for his passion for boating, strong work ethic, and dedication to family, friends and community. He is survived by his wife, Shelley, three children and five grandchildren.
